At Elia’s Kitchen, we offer healthy and nutritious, plant based cooking classes at a local commercial kitchen or at your designated kitchen facility.
Each lesson runs from 2 - 3 hours, with a minimum of 10 people.
We put extra effort into creating a very social, welcoming environment and for our hands-on classes, you'll cook as part of a team.

Hands-On Cooking Classes
You're the chef! Not confident in that yet? No worries, we'll guide you through. These classes have you fully involved in the cooking process to practice techniques and prepare the menu items.
Hands-on classes are limited to 16 people and begin with an introduction from the chefs, who will explain the recipes for that class and fully equip you to engage in the process.
Working in small teams, you'll then prepare 2 to 3 dishes, depending on the complexity of the recipes. During this time the chefs are continually on hand to answer questions and assist you.
At the end of the class, everyone sits down to enjoy what they have made and we provide the drinks. Recipes from the class will be made available to you so you can recreate them at home.
At your service! Let the chef do all the work while you focus on observing the methods and asking questions. For our cooking demonstrations, we'll walk you through and explain all the details of recipe preparation and cooking techniques that make plant based cuisine nutritious and delicious.
Our demonstration classes have a very intimate, informal feel to them and are
perfect for people who would like to relax and enjoy the flavors and textures of the dishes. Our chef will usually demonstrate 2 or 3 recipes over the course of the lesson and you'll enjoy sampling generous portions of each of the dishes.
These lessons run for 2 hours with a minimum of 10 and we can accommodate as many as 32 people observing, although we will accommodate up to 32 people where possible depending on the location...
Learn, cook, and enjoy a little take home bonus from the classes where you prepare foods. In addition to our standard plant based culinary classes, we offer hands-on instruction including Pastries, Desserts, Curries of the World, Knives & Presentation, and Stocks & Sauces.
They are very hands-on classes lasting 2 to 3 hours and will include a short break which
includes non-alcoholic beverages and a light meal prepared by our chefs. As with all the other classes, you will receive recipes and course notes.
What It Takes
Price - our cooking class pricing depends on several factors, including where it's held, what's being taught and whether ingredients are included in the price. The average price ranges from $55 to learn how to prepare a basic home cooked meal, to $150 for instruction on making a multi-course meal.
What To Wear - for purposes of Health & Safety, we require that you wear closed-in shoes, preferably leather, and no loose articles of clothing. Unfortunately, if you wear shorts, open-toed shoes, sandals or high heels you will not be able to participate in the class. Casual, comfortable clothing is perfectly acceptable and we recommend wearing comfortable shoes.
What We Provide - We provide all the necessary tools, equipment, and ingredients for you to use. We provide aprons for use during classes, and they are also available for purchase.
